This book was cute and fast tbh。 For having 40+ chapters it’s a quick read。 I love how simple it is and straight to the point。 No messy confusion。 We know how they feel。 It’s nice。 Favorite lines: “A wise man once told me dwelling on the past has never done a damn bit of good for anyone，” I feed him his own words。People fall in love with the idea of marriage or the idea of what a marriage should be instead of falling in love with the flawed human being they’re marrying。”

A typical love story and I loved it。They met at a party in college and then things go sideways for them and she winds up with his best friend。 Stone acts like he doesn’t remember her and she dates his best friend Jude for three years。 Jovie and Jude break up and a few years down the road they meet up again。 Loved it and highly recommend this book。

I've been a longtime fan of Winter Renshaw so any time she releases a book， it's an automatic must-read for me。 Once again this author has managed to write an amazing story with this slow-burn romance。 Stone and Jovie are pretty much given a second chance in this story。 They met in college and a missed opportunity ends with Jovie dating Stone's best friend。 Now years later after college， Jovie is no longer dating Stone's best friend but an incident leads Stone to contact Jovie and these two are I've been a longtime fan of Winter Renshaw so any time she releases a book， it's an automatic must-read for me。 Once again this author has managed to write an amazing story with this slow-burn romance。 Stone and Jovie are pretty much given a second chance in this story。 They met in college and a missed opportunity ends with Jovie dating Stone's best friend。 Now years later after college， Jovie is no longer dating Stone's best friend but an incident leads Stone to contact Jovie and these two are reunited as friends。 There was always an underlying attraction and chemistry between these two throughout college but Stone always let his feelings take a backseat as he wanted to see his best friend happy。 But now that his dream girl is free， will he let his feelings for Jovie be known？I absolutely adored this story。 Told in dual POV from both Jovie and Stone's perspectives， this story bounces from past to present scenes and it was amazing to see how deep and intense their connection was even way back when。 Their hidden desires and longing for one another， the banter， the angst and the build up to this slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance made this one of my favorite Winter Renshaw books to date。 I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who is a fan of this author or who simply loves a good story about fate。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this book。 The Past: Jovie meets Stone and Jude on the same night at a party at different times and both feel an attraction。 The boys are best friends， brothers almost and when Stone meets the girl that Jude has been talking about all week and finds out it is the same girl he has been talking about all week， he steps back because he wants his brother to be happy。 His brother turns out to be a selfish git and dumps Jovie on her ass after basically shopping for wedding rings with I really enjoyed this book。 The Past: Jovie meets Stone and Jude on the same night at a party at different times and both feel an attraction。 The boys are best friends， brothers almost and when Stone meets the girl that Jude has been talking about all week and finds out it is the same girl he has been talking about all week， he steps back because he wants his brother to be happy。 His brother turns out to be a selfish git and dumps Jovie on her ass after basically shopping for wedding rings with her。 He has fallen for another。 This story takes place 5 years from the break up but you get flashbacks to the relationship。 Jovie has added a tag to a engagement photo for Jude and the girl he dumped her for and Stone writes her to tell her to remove it so as not to embarrass herself more and then they start writing back and forth， her best friend is there to give her advice and Jude pops back in as he is having cold feet。 It is a slow burn but you can feel like attraction between Stone and Jovie from their first meeting。 I really nice love story。 I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
